Tensions at Real Madrid have reached a breaking point at the end of the season, as the heavy atmosphere within the squad reportedly turned into a serious incident during today’s training.
According to Marca, Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni had a heated confrontation following a sharp argument, highlighting deep divisions within the “Royal Club.” The fight broke out after a foul during a training match and quickly spiraled out of control.
The two midfielders pushed each other and stood face-to-face as the argument intensified. Reports suggest the clash didn’t end on the pitch but continued into the dressing rooms, leaving an unpleasant atmosphere at the Valdebebas training center.

Real Madrid is going through a delicate period, with few real chances of ending the season with a trophy and a squad where, according to sources, differences between players are evident. It is reported that some players barely communicate with each other, further increasing internal tension.
The situation is reportedly complicated by relationships with coach Álvaro Arbeloa, as Marca claims that six players are not on speaking terms with him due to accumulated pressure and general fatigue. This is not the first incident of its kind in recent weeks. Earlier, a clash between Antonio Rüdiger and Álvaro Carreras was rumored, which was later confirmed by the Spanish player himself, despite the club’s attempts to downplay it.

For Real, this charged atmosphere comes at the worst possible moment, as they face El Clásico in Barcelona this Sunday. A match that could definitively sink Madrid’s season, as Barcelona only needs one point to secure the title—a scenario that would be a heavy blow for a Real Madrid shaken by pressure, exhaustion, and internal conflicts.
